We are excited to invite you to join La Salle Sigma’s- Kappa Delta Chapter team for the Out of the Darkness Walk at the Mann Center.

📅 Walk Day: Sunday, October 5, 2025
📍 Location: The Mann Center for the Performing Arts, Philadelphia
🕘 Check-In: 7:30 AM

This annual event, hosted by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP), raises awareness, saves lives, and brings hope to those affected by suicide. Together, we can make a difference.

We’ve set a team fundraising goal of $500, and every contribution helps. Those who raise at least $150 will receive an event t-shirt, with additional prizes available for higher fundraising levels. Join us for our upcoming chapter meeting featuring a presentation by Justin Eppley DNP, CRNP, AGPCNP-BC, Chapter Leader and clinical researcher Fox Chase Cancer Center/Temple Health

Justin will be sharing insights from his work on an ongoing Phase 1 clinical trial (IRB #23-1028) evaluating CPO301, a novel EGFR-targeting antibody-drug conjugate, in adults with advanced or metastatic solid tumors. The study focuses on assessing the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, and early signs of antitumor activity of CPO301. In addition to dose escalation and expansion phases, the research explores potential correlations between EGFR status and treatment efficacy, offering a glimpse into the future of personalized cancer therapies.
